Drink water
Our body could get dehydrated while we are sleeping. It is important to drink a glass of water after you wake up to help you hydrate, flush out toxins from your body, and start your metabolism on the right track. You can try adding lemon or cucumber to your water too!
Pray or meditate
Having a bit of time for yourself right after waking up is a good practice too as it can set your mood for the day. Try praying or meditating for a minute or two just to allow yourself to be present at the moment and welcome the day right.
Stretch or exercise
Sometimes it’s just too hard to get up, especially when you woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Doing some stretches or a quick exercise will help wake your muscles and get your blood circulating better. Plus, exercise releases endorphins to improve your mood!
