It is recommended to refrain from checking your phone or any gadgets at least 20 minutes before you go to sleep. You can turn it off, put it in silent mode or just turn off your notifications. Having interrupted sleep because of notifications can also affect your sleep-wake pattern.

Creating a new routine can sometimes be harder than it seems. But, hey, there is no harm in trying! You can take small steps and just try to be consistent for you to get used to your new routine.
